This is a cross between ordinary yucky Yellow pear with Bison...a red, full flavored canning tomato done back in 1934. This created Fargo- a slightly larger, totally better flavored Yellow Pear. At about 1 oz, it is nearly twice as big as the detestable Yellow Pear we find for sale everywhere. Give this one a shot if you have always grown the one that tastes like dog fur (yellow Pear). I think you will like it better!
