Like Big Boy, this hybrid has been around for a very long time. Different from Big Boy in that it is not a beefsteak type but instead a large (12 oz) smooth super heavy production style plant. Outstanding flavor, along with the ease of growth and almost sure-fire production, this hybrid has stood the test of time. Better Boy is a "go to" for many people as their main crop.
