This is an old, well regarded big pink beefsteak type that has the ability to produce very large pinkish fruit. In our garden, without any special care, we average about 10 oz. Baby it and you can get them way over a pound. The flavor is mild and pleasant. Also known as Henderson's Ponderosa.
