This big orange is both mine and Lenny's' favorite in its class, hands down. Big, kind of ruffled 1 lb fruit nearly glow when you cut them, the beautiful orange color runs right thru the fruit. The best part is that typically, orange and yellow colored tomatoes tend to be on the mild side. Not so with Persimmon. Super full of tangy flavor, you would be hard pressed to call this one mild! A terrific slicer, you just ought to take my word for it and grow one for yourself. I consider this one and Goldie as almost the same except Goldie does not have the pleats in the fruit.
