This is a division of Hoover's . We have a vast selection of Water Lilies- much greater than anywhere else in the area. No need for mail order- chances are we have what you are looking for.
All plant material will be in separate tubs without any connection to fish. As I mention in the Tropical Water Lily page, I am aware that many of you have established Koi ponds. I want to sell you only a plant, not a pathogen.
One thing regarding plants, particularly the Water Lilies, you will receive a potted, growing, very well established and probably blooming plant (providing it is not too early). There will not be any issue of transplant shock or melt down that almost always happens when you ship these plants via mail order. Though not fatal at all, it does take a bit up time for the shipped plant to get up and running again. My prices will be very close to a mail order plants BUT(!) you will not pay shipping or have to pot it up and it will be much , much larger. This is a "win-win" for you! I also have mail order available for the folks whom are not local.
You are always welcome to come on out to the farm- sometimes you may not know exactly what color you want in a Lily. The best way is, of course, to actually see it! You must remember though, before 10 am, most Lilies are not yet open and after about 4 pm, they might be starting to close up. This depends hugely on variety though. The point I am making is that if you stay between those hours, you should see a pretty good example of all of them- well, maybe not the night bloomers, lol. Please call or email ahead to let us know you are coming. I would hate to run some errand and you show up out here. May and June are great months to see Lillies out here. By then they are pretty much all in full bloom.
If you know what you want and do not have the time to come and visit, I will bring an order to the Shreveport Farmers Market on any Saturday morning in the Summer. Other arrangements can often be made, depending on the size of the order.
