Micro Dwarf Tomatoes
Micro Dwarf tomatos are a blast!
These little guys rarely grow over about 12 inches! Typically they are cherry types- there is no way these tiny plants could support large fruit. What is remarkable though is the amount these petite plants can pump out. I enjoy keeping a few pots on my back deck to enjoy their unique appearance.
A 6" to perhaps a one gallon pot is all they need- anything larger would be a waste of soil and space. A wider than deep pot is better; the plants get quite top heavy when in full bearing. Just keep them fertilized and sit back and watch the show. Kids should get a kick out of them too! Can you imagine a fully grown tomato plant that is only 8 inches tall?
