I will some of these varieties available this season. These will only be sold here at the farm- no way to mail order them. Most likely I will have them growing in a 5 gallon bucket- just drop the bucket into your pond. Unlike the Water lily, the tubers are very fragile on Lotus during the growing season. You cant transplant them as you would other aquatic plants. The only time you can mess much with the root system is in January when they are in deep dormancy. I do think Lotus make a terrific tub plant that you can actually mix right into the flower border. The tub itself does not need to be deep....just enough to keep the roots submerged. Here in the South, they are perfectly hardy and can be left outside all Winter. Check with me to see what I will have this season (2021)
